That woman who stalked Linkin Park man Chester Bennington, to the extent that she hacked into his email and voicemail, stole private family photos, and then threatened the singer's wife, has been jailed for two years.

Devon Townsend admitted to cyber-stalking the Linkin Park star almost as soon as she was formally charged, admitting that she first hacked into Bennington's internet and mobile accounts, and then used the information she obtained to track his movements and go and stalk him in the real world. She admitted: "On at least one occasion, knowing that Chester Bennington was in Arizona, I travelled to Arizona solely for the purpose of trying to see him. While I was there, I monitored Chester Bennington's voicemails as a means of trying to locate where he might be eating".

Townsend is expected to start her sentence in a minimum-security prison in the next two months, and should receive mental health treatment while there.

The follow up to 2005's X&Y is now in the final stages according to band manager Dave Holmes.

He told Billboard.com: "They're in the final mixing (stage). They'll start mastering, and away we go. I think it's their best album. They've really delivered. It's a fantastic record."

Once the Yellow singers are done with the studio they fully intend on getting back on tour.

Dave adds: "They're really looking forward to touring and getting back out there."

Amy Winehouse Will Probably Make Brits

Amy Winehouse is now expected to appear at the awards show.

Brit Awards chairman and SonyBMG chief Ged Doherty told Sky News yesterday: "I heard her rehearse last night and she sounded absolutely great. We are just thrilled to have her appearing at the ceremony. At times it has been a difficult year for Amy but what has never been in doubt is that she is a real talent". As previously reported, there has been much speculation as to whether Winehouse would be well enough to make the awards show, though since her by satellite Grammy performance it has been more likely than not that she would make it.
